About Us

The Biogents Mosquitaire was developed and is being produced and distributed by Biogents AG.

Biogents AG is a spin-off from the Institute of Zoology at the University of Regensburg in Germany. In 2002, Biogents was established as a Limited Company (GmbH). Since fall 2007, Biogents is a Public Limited Company (AG).

Biogents' mission is to transfer the findings and expertise from more than fifteen years of academic research in the fields of insect behaviour, chemical ecology, and medical entomology into innovative products for the pest control market.

Besides developing our own line of mosquito traps, Biogents also offers services as a contract R&D partner and consultant for producers of insect repellents, traps or attractants for household pest insects, and similar products.
